Set in the comfort of your home, this session allows space for feeding, soothing, cuddling, and simply being together. There is no rush and no pressure, just intentional time to document your baby as they are, surrounded by love, connection, and the details that make this season uniquely yours. *If you would prefer a studio-style setup, please let me know, as I have several beautiful options we can utilize to best fit your vision.

The Time to Rejoice Celebration or Event Session is designed to thoughtfully document gatherings filled with joy, meaning, and connection. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, milestone, or special event, this coverage focuses on telling the full story, the details, the people, the laughter, and the moments that unfold naturally. Time is approached intentionally to ensure the heart of your celebration is captured without feeling rushed, allowing space for genuine interaction and meaningful moments to be preserved.

Booking & Initial Payment
All sessions require a $50 non-refundable initial payment to reserve your session date and time. Sessions are not officially booked until the non-refundable initial payment is received.
Sales Tax
Session pricing does not include North Carolina sales tax. Applicable tax will be added to your total at checkout.
Travel
Travel is included within a 15-mile radius of Elizabeth City, NC.
For locations beyond this radius, a travel rate of $0.72 per mile will apply, along with a non-refundable travel time fee:
- $25 per hour of travel
- $10 for travel under one hour
Travel fees are calculated based on round-trip mileage and time.
Additional Participants
Sessions include immediate family members only. An additional fee of $10 per person applies for participants beyond the immediate family.

Do I have an indoor studio?
At this time, I do not have a dedicated indoor studio. My work is centered around natural light and meaningful environments, whether that’s outdoors, in your home, or at your event. I love the freedom, authenticity, and candid moments these spaces allow.
For clients who prefer an indoor setting, I partner with several local studios and indoor locations that are available to rent for an additional usage fee. I’m always happy to help coordinate the right space to best fit your vision.
When should I book a session for my preferred season?
If you have a specific season in mind, booking as early as possible is always recommended. Many clients reach out months in advance to plan ahead, especially for spring and fall sessions, which tend to fill quickly.
Session dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis once the non-refundable initial payment has been received. Reaching out early allows for more flexibility in date selection, but availability is not held until your session is officially booked.
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, gift certificates are available and are delivered electronically for convenience. Physical copies can also be mailed upon request. Gift certificates make a thoughtful option for birthdays, milestones, and special celebrations. *Please note that gift certificates may not be used toward wedding photography services.
What should I wear to my session?
As part of the KMP Experience, you’ll receive a styling guide to help you prepare for your session. Upon request, I also offer access to an interactive online style guide and outfit coordination tool to make planning even easier.
If you ever have questions or would like personalized outfit pairing suggestions, I’m always happy to help.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the excitement and anticipation of receiving your final images. Sneak peeks are delivered within 48 hours of your session, giving you a glimpse into your gallery while the full collection is being carefully curated.
My typical turnaround time for the final edited gallery is approximately two weeks, or up to three weeks during peak season, depending on the volume of images and the level of retouching required.
Each gallery is edited with care and intention, as I prioritize quality and attention to detail to ensure your images are beautifully finished and worth the wait.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I'm flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
Do you provide props for sessions?
I love when clients incorporate sentimental or meaningful items into their sessions and am always open to photographing props that are special to you. I also have a small, curated collection of props, such as blankets and seating for little ones, that may be used as needed.
Props are fully provided for themed mini sessions held throughout the year.
Can pets be included in the session?
Yes, pets are welcome to be included in your session when the session location permits. As they are often an important part of the family, I’m happy to include them whenever possible. I offer treats and water for our fur-babies during the session to help keep them comfortable.
I do recommend bringing a leash, a helper if available, and poop bags for cleanup during the session when needed.

Yes, I am fully insured. If your location or venue requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI), I’m happy to provide one upon request.
